What is Navy Seal?

Navy Seal is a joint and combined team for any Sea, Air, and Land of United States Navy. Navy Seal is one very special types of operation force. It is one significant maritime component of United States Special Operation Command. Navy Seal has formed to operate special Navy operations, which are not likely with any regular Navy operations. As a part of NSWC (Naval Special Warfare Command), Navy Seal is also known as ‘The Green faces’, or the teams, as its coded name. Navy Seal has it’s headquarter at California, and Virginia. Though, there are no particular set of operation types, according to which someone can frame the activities of Navy Seal, but there are some common operational purposes, which are mostly fitted with Navy Seal activities. These purposes are:

1. Any warfare, that is not conventional.
2. Internal Defense on any foreign Land.

5. Direct and rapid action.

What is Navy Seal Training?

Navy Seal training is one special and differently designed training program, for ultimate physical fitness with rightly motivated mental orientation. It comes mostly after the purpose of ensuring an optimum physical condition. But, as a part of war time or any such similar situation, development of a rightly motivated and influenced mental conditioning is other key purpose of Navy Seal Training.
The difference between Navy Seal Training and other regular military or naval training is significant. All armed or naval forces training come with its ultimate goal after considering any wartime situation. Navy Seal Training comes with no difference than that, but it has been designed with the purpose of preparing the soldiers for the most challenging situation.

Some brief about Navy Seal Training:

The threshold level of Navy Seal Training goes at its peak, which many recruits can not cope up with. A general statistics showed that, almost 80 percent from the selected persons have give up Navy Seal Training at some points. There are some basic requirements, before anyone is being considered as eligible for Navy Seal Training. This eligibility criterion includes:
1. All Navy Seal Training applicants must have be in the role of active Navy duty.
2. All Navy Seal Training applicants must be United States citizen.
3. All Navy Seal Training applicants must have the age limit equal or below 28.
4. All Navy Seal Training applicants must be male.
5. A superb eye vision is mandatory for all Navy Seal Training applicants.

First phase of Navy Seal Training:

The first phase of training comes with less physical involvements, and more with mental orientation of the selected candidates. This phase of training lasts for five weeks, and mostly designed for delivering:
1. An overall idea about the training and it purposes.
2. Resources, which helps the candidates to get prepared.
3. Different aspects which comes at later training phases.
4. Enough time to get introduced with each other and know the chemistry of the training.
The overall atmosphere goes very relaxing during these five weeks, which comes as the first phase of navy Seal Training. As a result, dropout rates have seen very low during this period of training.

Second phase of Navy Seal Training:

The show time begins during this second phase of Navy Seal Training, as it comes with some primary physical conditioning. The duration for this Navy Seal Training phase is eight weeks, which comes mostly with the basic and required physical involvement of the candidates. The entire trainee group has seen to realize the difference between the life outside Navy Seal Training base and the reality inside. The threshold level of physical limit goes at its max, during this training period. Selected candidates here learn about even how to tolerate the torture from the enemy side up to an extent. Life goes really tough in this phase of training, and some regular drop out is one common scenario during this period of Navy Seal Training.

Third phase of Navy Seal Training:

This phase is known as ‘Hell Week’ as it comes with more random and intense physical conditioning with different training workouts. Four days and five nights of training duration, the candidates are allowed to have for hours of sleeping time, in total. This is one of the hardest parts of Navy Seal Training. At some point, things might have seen absurd, but these are the mandatory part, which comes with continuous one after another extreme physical training procedures.

Fourth Phase of Navy Seal Training:

After the ‘Hell Week’, time has come to perform all under water exercises. Fifth Phase of Navy Seal Training:

Here the trainee candidates will take a closer look about the use and functionality of different specialized war time weapons. Delivering an in hand practice of dealing with different types of explosive, is another important part of this training phase.

Sixth Phase of Navy Seal Training:

When most of the candidates have done with almost every sort of land and water training, the last phase comes with some air training as per the Navy Seal Training requirement. During this training phase, candidates will receive parachute training for three weeks, with the details to deal with different unexpected situation during and parachute jump.
